Setting science-based targets to reach net-zero emissions in the venture building sector
Measure, reduce, compensate, and report on Stryber's emissions to reach net-zero by 2030
Stryber is a leading strategic venture builder and helps corporates around the globe to build impactful startup portfolios. They see it as their direct responsibility to do this sustainably. For Stryber, reducing the footprint of its internal operations is the absolute baseline of its journey to becoming a sustainable venture builder and showcasing its example to its clients.
Using Plan A's carbon accounting software, the venture building company collected data for its operational emissions, including the operations of its three offices (Kyiv, Munich, and Zurich). The analysis provided each emissions scope intensity, per category.
Based on this carbon investigation, Plan A provided a comprehensive action plan to implement carbon reduction measures across the entire organisation. The reduction plan strongly focuses on scope 3 emissions and business travel.
By mitigating and reducing its emissions, Stryber could compensate for its emissions that could not be reduced otherwise. Then, to achieve net-zero emissions by 2030, our sustainability experts defined science-based targets and a roadmap for decarbonisation.
Moving forward, Stryber will report internally and externally on its sustainability journey.
