Plan A is a sustainable, value-driven, and responsible technology company that strives for a balance between people, planet, and profit. This has now been officially attested to the Berlin-based Greentech with the prestigious "B Corp" certification. B Corp stands for "Benefit Corporation" and proves that around 4,500 companies worldwide – only 40 of them from Germany – comply with strict social and ecological standards.
The rigorous process requires companies to answer more than 300 detailed questions about corporate governance, workers, communities and environmental impact, and is highly regarded as recognition of good business practices, accountability, and social and environmental proactivity. Companies that receive certification must undergo a review every three years by demonstrating positive impacts on an ongoing basis.
Lubomila Jordanova, CEO of Plan A: "Sustainable economy is at the core of our corporate DNA and business model. We want to make sure we practice what we preach. With the B Corp certification, we show that technology, business, and positive social and environmental impact go hand in hand. A first milestone on our sustainability journey, with more to follow soon."
